And now Donald is everywhere; unavoidable. Even for me, having left social media and the hand-wringing of Rachel Maddow on MSNBC. Maybe you think you’re going to miss something vital if you delete the New York Times app or your subscription to Substack. (I do.) In spite of myself and my resolutions last night I fed my brain doom-filled posts and dreamt about cataclysm.

Not super-powerful.

The fear-based energy of all that information is going to activate your nervous system and put any emotional resources you have out of reach. I think that’s why it’s taking me hours to write about one simple thing:

Dark Moon Circles

DMC is a community of women who meet the night before the dark moon to share, vent, practice ritual magic and pull some Tarot cards. We do a guided meditation and we write and listen to our intuition. It’s not always the same. But it is always focused on two things:

Remembering our power

AND

Listening for guidance from our Higher Self, or if you prefer, our Deeper Wisdom.

Maybe we come away buzzing with energy. Or maybe it’s more the feeling that it’s time to forgive yourself for not wanting to storm the barricades. Maybe we just accept we are weary and scared or we are pissed.

DMC is always at 7pm ET and it is always free.
You can watch and experience the rituals as I perform them or I can send you your own altar tools (crystals, candles, herbs, etc)
and you can perform them along with me.

Then what?

Call back your forces. Protect your mentality. Put up your shield of love and light. Believe me, what you need to know will still find you.

Even if it isn’t this circle, find yourself a place, a group, a space, a time when you can touch base with other women in community. Remember you are incarnated in this time and place to participate in life as we find it. This is our collective spiritual journey and in it is your free will. Think of Dark Moon Circle as a time to reorient yourself and remember who you truly are.

What’s the goal?

To drop into your own deep spaces.

To realize that absolutely everything you need is within.

To claim your power and divinity.

To remember you are a co-creator with the God/dess/the All that Is.

I predict…

We are going to see the cracks and the crumble of the patriarchy and capitalism, racism, ageism, misogyny. It’s going to be heart-wrenching. But all of it is the Shadow-projection of what we have misunderstood in our innocence. Now that we see the Shadow and acknowledge the projection, we are able to get free of it. Be the change you wish to see. Move out of the hierarchy and into the spiral. Get out of your head and into your belly. Hear your soul. Listen..

At the Dark Moon

Things are dark and we are called to rest and retreat. We let the good ideas gestate. We don’t expect a lot. We just “be.”

So, come and rest, laugh and call back your power. Listen for guidance from the magic we make; from your spiritual guides, ancestors and the archetypes and symbols in the Tarot cards.
